Look at all the way where the market is the market,
Desire is a far-reaching world.
The heads of fragrances are colorless, all butterflies,
What is this festival that has come to the garden? “
How beautifully these lines are describing globalization and liberalization. However, for some time recently, the picture of the world is going on by something else. Presidential elections have been held in the US and with the formation of President Donald Trump, there are celebrations of Tilalis and the market is colorless. The coming of right-wing governments in most countries of the world, including not only America, Europe, South America, is doubting the future of globalization. With this, the countries which are now able to stand in the era of globalization, there is a lot of concern about such kind of protectionist policies. India, Developing countries like China had begun to enjoy globalization, that developed countries planned to guard their own interests and plan their own interests. What is the reason that has created fear in the minds of the parents of globalization? After all, why is one country encouraging protectionism after one another? Are these steps pointing to the end of globalization or will the burning globalization burn the developing country?
The protectionism which has become a threat to globalization today, somewhere this protectionism is also a part of globalization. The first village society used to be self-reliant. The production was as much as it was needed. Nor was there a great market like today and there was no need to preserve it. There was an industrial revolution in Europe, consequently redundancy production gave rise to the market’s need. Countries with the industrial revolution had to consume their goods. So the bourgeoisie of these countries turned to countries where the big market was potential. Due to this necessity of the market, the world had to suffer the bitter of colonialism and imperialism. By grabbing the resources of underdeveloped countries, taking advantage of their labor power and occupying their market, these imperial countries have moved far beyond the race for development. Now the market crisis arose when these colonial countries became independent.
Colonialism may have ended, but these western countries still had the need of the market. Now it was not possible to directly capture the market of another country. Now the demand for the market could have been fulfilled in a single way, if the whole world was transformed into a single market. Therefore, developed countries started knocking on the doors of developing countries. If the independent developing country was not able to stand straight up, how would they open their markets for them? To avoid this globalization, developing countries have adopted a protectionist policy. The license-permit-quota preserves its nascent industries, traders and farmers etc.
India also followed this policy, but soon the external and internal pressures of opening their markets on these countries started increasing. On one hand these western countries were counting the benefits of globalization by holding neck of developing countries, while on the other side their own economies were crumbling. Dushyant Kumar’s these lines are very beautiful,
“Now change the water of this lake,
These lotus flowers are blooming.
Fishy is in trouble, now Safina
She is cutting from that side .. “
As a result, developing countries had to open their own markets and the globalization wave was going on in the whole world. However, the developed countries were in favor of globalization because of this they had maximum profit and minimum loss. These countries were 100-200 years ahead of the countries in their development journey. There was no developing country in science-technology. The quality of their products was so good that the products of developing countries had no threat to their market. The policies and standards of the world market were also doing the same. In their native language, by adopting globalization, the four fingers of the developed countries were in ghee and in Kadhahi.
And it was not that the opening of the market was only a loss to developing countries. Globalization gave rise to competition, inspired the development. Provided quality life to people. Development in all fields like agriculture, industry, science-technology etc. Providing employment opportunities to workers in other countries as well as in other countries. Developing countries were learning to walk by the finger of the countries developed by globalization. Countries like India and China have become two bright stars of the world economy. This was the time when the wave of globalization started running fast around the world. Developing countries were coming to a stage in talks with developed countries. Trans Pacific Partnership, Transatlantic Partnership Agreement, Globalization was about to appear in its peak by the World Trade Organization’s Trade Facilitation Agreement and many such bilateral and regional free trade agreements. But time has changed, and now the world is facing some unexpected and dismal events. Today, the nationalist political ideology of fierce nationalism is becoming popular in the forerunners of globalization in the world.
Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel, due to her soft refugee policy, was forced by the fierce dormant party A.F.D. Lost to In the elections of the states of France, the right-wing party National Front came to power. In Poland, the hardcore right-wing party came to power last year. Hardcore nationalist parties also win elections in Switzerland. Even in the United States, the nation’s nationalist Donald Trump won presidential elections. Because of its right-wing attitude, Britain decided to separate from the European Union. After one, a complete Western world is coming under nationalism.
It’s a startling scenario that the countries of the world who have come up with the slogan of globalization, themselves themselves are adopting protectionist policies today. Today, in the country like America, we are getting slogans like ‘By American Higher American’ instead of ‘Global Village’. The reason for this is that now these countries have started looking at the dark side of the goldfolded picture.
But its downside is that in the era of globalization, the sovereignty of the nation-state has begun to wobble. International issues on issues such as environment, trade have weakened the sovereignty of the countries. In the recent years there has been a widespread increase in the mutual dependence of the different countries, the situation is that no country can claim to be completely self-reliant today. All countries have to adhere to the rules of the World Trade Organization for the regulation of international trade. The International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the multinational companies influence the economic policies of the nations. Economic organizations like the European Union are formed, The countries involved have had to delegate the right to determine the economic policies of their country also to the Union (European Union). This has caused extensive damage to the economic sovereignty of the countries. This loss has reached some political sovereignty. Even if the United Nations has not been as strong as building a global government, but the entire country uses this platform to establish and comply with certain rules and traditions. Today, transportation in the world, There has been wide spread of communication. People from different countries are connected by social media. Information dissemination in the country and the world is only in a few moments. People have been in touch with other countries’ cultures. This cultural reconciliation is seen as a threat to its culture. People think that their global cultural sovereignty has weakened with globalization. Huntington has explained these books in his book ‘Conflicts of Civilizations’.
Not only sovereignty but also other reasons that put globalization in the dockyard. If the economies are interlinked, their dependence also increased. Today, the economic recession of a single country takes the whole world to its grip. The movement of workers not only of commodities started, due to which the developed countries received large number of migrant laborers. According to a recent UN report, about 3% of the total population of the world is migrant, which is progressively increasing. With the arrival of a large number of migrant laborers, the basic labor of them started becoming unemployed and economic inequality arose. At the same time, as the developing countries began to grow in global institutions, the developed countries began to pressurize.
If not seen, the market itself has not been globalized, terrorism has also been globalized. In a quiet country like France, two intense incidents forced the entire western world to think. The biggest problem is – refugees are entering European countries in large numbers from the Middle East. For the refugee problem, it must be said that ‘when the buoya tree acacia is found then where is the common?’ Western countries have ruined the Middle East for their own benefit, now that a large number of refugees are entering, the problem is arising. These are some of the reasons which are making liberal ideology even deep-wing.
But who is responsible for all of these? The famous philosopher Rolls says in his “Principle of Justice” that if any policy is created fairly then that is justice. The western world’s policy of globalization was not fair, but it tilted towards itself. As soon as the lands of other countries were heavy, the western countries started to falter. It would have been appropriate in this case that these countries had already taken the blueprint of globalization policy by keeping them in place of developing countries. Then the profit would be less, but it would have been balanced and the world today has to face problems like sovereignty, danger, terrorism, unemployment and inequality.
There is no permanent ideology of every society and nation. Change is the law of nature and is also indicative of development. If there is any change in world thinking then we can hope that it will be for the betterment of mankind. And as far as the future of globalization is concerned, all the countries of the world have rattled so much so that it is no longer possible to become completely self-reliant. Just as rivers found in the sea can not be separated, so countries can no longer be separated from the world; Rather, there are some issues like environment, terrorism, in which the whole world needs to be united to solve. Even though the western countries are drawing their feet from globalization, now the second generation will enjoy globalization. Now Asia will be the center of globalization and another story of development will be written. But the dream of Vishwa Gram will be realized only when the new policy of globalization is balanced and will take everyone along with it.
