Dakota Fanning was born on February 23, 1994, in Conyers, Georgia. She landed her first commercial at 5 years old and earned a Screen Actors Guild Award for her work with Sean Penn on I Am Sam. She played Tom Cruise’s daughter in the 2005 remake of War of the Worlds.

Dakota Fanning Biography

Fanning reprised the role of Jane in 2012’s The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2. In addition to taking on more acting projects, she also hopes to get a chance to work behind the camera. “I would love to direct someday.
